Mylar (Shiny Gold) Framed Pictures

Our mylar frame is a shiny gold frame. We call it a mylar(shiny gold) frame because it has a metalic gold mylar foil under a protective plastic coating. Many people are familiar with shiny foil mylar balloons. These balloons are made from a similar foil. When you laminate mylar (shiny gold) foil to a rigid piece of plastic frame, it does not wrinkle and takes on the appearance of brass or gold.

 
We carry a wide variety of sizes which include 4"x4", 6"x6", 8"x8", 8"x10", 10"x12", 12"x12", 16"x20", 20"x24", and 22"x34".

Advantages of Mylar (shiny gold) Framed Pictures

 

  • Mylar (shiny gold) makes a very good looking product. The shiny frame has the look of brass.

Disadvantages

  • Mylar (shiny gold) framed pictures are glued closed. If there is ever a need to switch the print, a little work is required. We can give you technical help doing this.
